Linden is a CPA and the principal of Pilot Ship Consulting, a Halifax-based practice providing financial management and oversight advisory services and training to non-profit organizations.
He has more than 15 years of experience with non-profits, in both staff and consultant capacities, with a wide range of organizations: charities and foundations, industry and professional associations, sport organizations and clubs, and health and community organizations. The work has covered financial oversight and board reporting, month-end and year-end processes, internal controls, budgeting, and training for treasurers, boards and executives.
He also serves as a non-profit board director, so he has seen financial oversight from the staff side, the advisor's side and the board side.
